Procedures

To access the computational facility, the procedure described at https://c3s.unito.it/index.php/super-computer/occam-credits-howto should be followed. In particular, the user must ask for an account using a form in the web site before accessing the OCCAM supercomputer via ssh. The ssh access also needs a ssh key to be upload into a personal profile (https://gitlab.c3s.unito.it/profile/keys). In order to get access also to the special nodes of the Department of Medical Sciences, the user must inform the responsible person (Piero Fariselli). OCCAM consists of a set of nodes that must be booked before their usage using a “coin-based” credit system (https://c3s.unito.it/index.php/super-computer/occam-credits-howto). For the members of the DMS the distribution of the coins is delegated to the responsible person (Piero Fariselli).
